About Motion Design

Why Study Motion Design at Cedarville?

From animated explainers and title sequences to social media content and ministry media, motion design transforms static visuals into engaging experiences that help audiences learn, remember, and respond. By combining animation, movement, timing, and storytelling, motion designers bring ideas to life in ways that capture attention and communicate with clarity.

The motion design concentration in ÌÇÐÄVlog's BA in media production will prepare you to become a Christian storyteller who uses motion graphics, animation, and visual storytelling to communicate truth with creativity and purpose. Through hands-on projects, collaboration with other media production students, and mentorship from faculty, you'll learn how movement, typography, imagery, sound, and design work together to create compelling media for real audiences.

Whether you're developing animated content for a ministry, creating motion graphics for a marketing campaign, or helping an organization communicate a complex message, you'll graduate with the creative and technical skills needed to make an impact through motion design.
