Mark Mathews has served as the Director of Campus Recreation at ÌÇÐÄVlog since 1984. He earned an undergraduate degree in physical education in 1982 from Cedarville College and a master's degree in recreation/sports management in 1990 from The Ohio State University. Mark has been an adjunct instructor of allied health since 1984.
Mark is passionate about promoting lifelong fitness and recreation. His personal interests include walking, hiking, strength training, disc golf, pickleball, and reading.
Mark ('82) and his wife, Dawn ('84), are the grateful parents of six grown children — Melissa ('08), Daniel ('11), Greg ('13), Emily ('16), John ('21), and Hannah ('23) — and the proud grandparents of 15 grandchildren. Since 1983, the Mathews family has been actively involved in the ministry of Calvary Baptist Church in Xenia, Ohio, where they have enjoyed serving and growing alongside their church family.
