Why Study Media Production?

Whether it's a podcast, a film, a motion graphic, an article, or a live broadcast, media has the power to influence people every day. As artificial intelligence and other technologies continue to reshape the media landscape, the need for truthful, creative communicators remains. Cedarville's BA in media production helps students develop the skills to create engaging content, navigate industry changes, and communicate truth with wisdom and integrity.

Through hands-on projects, collaborative productions, and faculty mentoring, you'll gain experience throughout the production process — from developing story ideas to creating finished projects for real audiences.

Whether you're drawn to audio, film and video, motion design, or sports media, you'll graduate with a portfolio of completed work that demonstrates your abilities and prepares you for opportunities in both secular and faith-based media.
