Undergraduate Students

Changes in a student's course schedule must be made through the drop/add process.

For a 16-week, full-term course:

  • Students may change their schedules through Student Planning through the end of the week in which classes begin.
  • After the first week, a Drop/Add Request form is required to complete a schedule change.

For an 8-week course:

  • Students may change their schedules through Student Planning through the second day of the course.
  • Starting the third day of the course, a Drop/Add Request form is required to complete a schedule change.

Drop/Add Request Forms

Drop/Add Request forms are available on the website and in myCU. There are also paper forms, if needed, in the Office of the Registrar (SSC 132).

Course changes are complete when the Office of the Registrar receives the completed Drop/Add Form. The effective date of the course change and refund is the date the Office of the Registrar receives the completed form.

Failure to properly drop a class will result in a grade of "Z" which impacts a student's grade point average the same as an "F" grade.
